Warum diese Bedeutung
風呂 (a bath) + 敷 (a spreading cloth) — originally the cloth spread out at the bathhouse to stand on and wrap one's clothes; now the square cloth used to wrap and carry things; 大風呂敷を広げる, to make grandiose claims.
